  • Two arrested as heroin, prescription drugs, seized at Kent County motel

  • Delaware State Police troopers have arrested two people for alleged drug dealing from a local motel.

  • Troopers with the Delaware State Police Kent County Governor's Task Force have arrested two people for allegedly dealing illegal drugs from a local hotel room. Troopers executed a search warrant at approximately 4:50 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Best Western motel at 1700 E. Lebanon Rd., said division spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier. The suspects, identified as Justin Bodman, 25, of Henderson, Md. and Crystle L. Kotenko, 23, of Harrington, were taken into custody without incident. The search of room turned up 611 bags of heroin stamped Adidas, totaling 12.22 grams, two doses of Suboxone and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Troopers also seized $1,200 in suspected drug proceeds, Fournier said. Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were ordered held in default of a $54,000 secured bond each. The arrests were made with the assistance of the Kent County Drug Unit, Fournier said.
