This year's Oscars are going to have a special Edge.
U2 will perform their Academy Award-nominated song "Ordinary Love" at this year's ceremony, which will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. The tune, which U2 wrote, is from the film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
U2 joins previously announced performer Idina Menzel, who will sing "Let It Go" from Frozen. The two songs will compete with music from Despicable Me 2 and Her.
The 86th Academy Awards airs Sunday, March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 p.m. PT on ABC.
