Residents of Camden will get the chance to ask questions of their mayoral and council candidates on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The Harvest Years Senior Center will sponsor a Meet the Candidates forum for the position of mayor of the town of Camden and two Camden Town Council seats.

The forum will be held beginning at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, at the senior center, located at 30 South St., Camden.

Each candidate will be given five minutes to introduce themselves and to present their agenda for the town. Members of the audience then will have an opportunity to present questions to the candidates.

Candidates for mayor include acting Mayor Justin T. King, as well as Christopher Warga and Richard Snyder.

Candidates for the two council seats are incumbent John W. Green Jr., along with Michael Schock and Tracy Torres. The winners of the election will serve three-year terms.

King took over as acting mayor on Feb. 7, following the resignation of Mayor W.G. Edmanson, who left to take on a new role as a magistrate for the Kent County Justice of the Peace.

All Camden residents are encouraged to attend the Feb. 15 forum. Refreshments will be served.

Town elections will be held in Camden from noon until 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at town hall, 1783 Friends Way.
