Dover Police are looking for a lone gunman who held up an employee at a Walgreen's pharmacy.
The incident took place at 9:29 a.m. Jan. 25, at the store at 1215 S. State St., said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman. The police investigation indicates the robber came into the store with a firearm, forced the employee to open a cash register and took an undisclosed amount of cash, Hoffman said. The man then ran toward the Carrols Corner Shopping Center, and may have fled in a green Cadillac Deville with tinted windows.
The robber was described as a black man with a medium complexion, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and six feet in height and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants and an unknown brand of hiking shoes or boots.
