  • Staples office store burglarized

  • Police are investigating a break-in at a local office supply store.

  • The Dover Police Department is investigating an early morning burglary at the Dover Staples Office Supply Store. The incident took place at 1:09 a.m. Jan. 15, at the store in the North Dover Shopping Center, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman. The suspect broke the glass entry doors at the front of the business and fled with five tablet-style computers from a display area. The suspect was described as a black man standing between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches in height, weighing between 185 and 225 pounds, wearing a black hooded winter coat, charcoal gray sweatpants, black sneakers and white gloves. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111.
