    A group of Satanists has unveiled a design of a 7-foot-tall statue that they want erected at the Oklahoma state capitol. The Satanic Temple wants the statue put up because a monument of the Ten Commandments was allowed at the capitol in 2012. The statue depicts a goat-headed demon sitting on a throne under an inverted pentagram, and two smiling children look up at the beast.

    "There was no reason to shoot this kid. They killed my son in cold blood. We called for help, and they killed my son." - Mark Wilsey, stepfather of Keith Vidal, 18, who was shot and killed by police. The family of the teen, who had schizophrenia, called police because he was threatening his mother. The family said the situation was under control when a third police officer showed up, and Keith was killed about a minute later.

    Former NBA star Dennis Rodman and other American players trained with young North Koreans in advance of Wednesday's exhibition match to mark the birthday of North Korea's leader. Rodman appealed for understanding about his goodwill project.
