  • A 30-year-old Harrington woman was arrested by Harrington police on Dec. 28 following a report of disorderly conduct at a local bar.
Shortly after midnight, officers responded to Stone’s Bar on Mechanic Street after receiving a report of an intoxicated woman being disorderly inside the bar, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
The responding officer located 30-year-old Pamela Dalton at the bar where she was cursing at other patrons. When the officer attempted to take Dalton into custody, she began fighting and kicked the officer five or six times, Brode said.
After a short struggle, Dalton was arrested and transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.
While at the police station, Dalton continued to be disorderly, refusing to have her fingerprints or photograph taken, Brode said.
Dalton was charged with resisting arrest with force, failure to comply with taking of photos and fingerprints and disorderly conduct.
She was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $2,500 secured bond.
