  • Shirley Ann Witt, of Camden, Delaware, formerly of Orland Park, Illinois, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover, Delaware. She was 65.

    She was born at St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, Indiana, on August 29, 1948. Daughter of the late Ann and Frank Frankiewicz, of Calumet City, Illinois, she has one surviving brother, Michael Frankiewicz.

  • Shirley Ann Witt, of Camden, Delaware, formerly of Orland Park, Illinois, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones, at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, Dover, Delaware. She was 65. She was born at St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, Indiana, on August 29, 1948. Daughter of the late Ann and Frank Frankiewicz, of Calumet City, Illinois, she has one surviving brother, Michael Frankiewicz. Mrs. Witt worked as a Certified Laboratory Assistant at St. Margaret’ s Hospital, Hammond, Indiana, for a number of years and also as a doctor’ s assistant in the same area, prior to her extended medical disabilities. She was very active in both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts with her son and daughter, serving in many leadership positions in both organizations. Her husband, of over 40 years, William G. Witt of Camden, Delaware, a son Brian W. Witt of Alexandria, Virginia, a daughter Keli Ann Witt of Wyoming, Delaware, a granddaughter Leigh Ann Witt of Wyoming, Delaware, and a brother Michael Frankiewicz from Illinois survive Shirley. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survive her. A graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 in Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
