  • Bayhealth has appointed Michael J. Tretina, CPA, MBA, FHFMA, FACHE, to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer.

  • Bayhealth has appointed Michael J. Tretina, CPA, MBA, FHFMA, FACHE, to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer.
    Tretina has more than 28 years of experience in health care finance including expertise in reimbursement, accounting, strategic planning, patient access, patient financial services, and health information management. Tretina joins Bayhealth from Mary Greeley Medical Center, in Ames, Iowa, where he served as vice president and chief financial officer for four and a half years. Prior to that, he served as vice president and senior vice president of finance at St. Vincent's Health System, a 900-bed hospital and sub-acute health care system in Jacksonville, Fla.
    Tretina earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting at The Pennsylvania State University and his master of business administration in healthcare administration at LaSalle University, in Philadelphia. He is a certified public accountant.
