  • William “Bill” Herman Pfieffer of Camden/Wyoming, DE passed away Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Seasons Hospice of Christiana Care. He was 62. Mr. Pfieffer was born May 16, 1951 in Dover Delaware to Edna V. (Steele) Pfieffer and the late Herman H. Pfieffer. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for James Julian, Inc. and R.E. Pierson Construction, Inc. Mr. Pfieffer bought and sold antique tractors, he also enjoyed restoring and working on classic cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan especially rooting for Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Mr. Pfieffer was a member of the United Steelworkers Union of America. Mr. Pfieffer is survived by his mother, Edna Pfieffer of Wyoming; his wife of 37 years, Patricia Juanita Gilley Pfieffer of Camden/Wyoming; daughter, Laura E. Pfieffer of Sandersville, GA; son, Michael J. Kelliher of Wyoming; sister, Wanda E. Pfieffer of Dover; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 12 to 2. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Blood Bank of Delmarva 100 Hygeia Drive, Newark, DE 19713.
