  • State troopers are investigating a robbery that occurred early Monday at the Shore Stop convenience store in Felton.
    The robbery took place at 4:07 a.m. Dec. 2, at the store at 8953 S. DuPont Highway, said Delaware State Police spokesman Cpl. John Day.
    The suspect came into the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money; once the clerk handed over the cash, the suspect fled the area.
    No one, including the 20-year-old clerk, was injured, Day said.
    The suspect is a black man standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, of average build. There was no further physical description of the suspect or his clothing available, Day said.
