Delaware State Police troopers are searching for a Camden-area teen, identified as Ryan Cox, for failing to register as a sex offender.
Troopers with the Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit are looking for a Camden sex offender after he failed to register his sex offender status. Investigators have obtained warrants for Ryan Cox, 16, a Tier II, or medium risk, sex offender, said police spokesman Cpl. John Day. Cox was convicted in 2012 of unlawful sexual contact where the individual was less than 11 years of age. Cox is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches and weighing 136 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and may be in the Camden area. The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know the location of Cox to call 911 or 672-5306.
