Delaware State Police are looking for two area sex offenders, Michael Kerrick and WIlliam Hignutt, who have failed to register their whereabouts as required by law.
The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is looking for two area sex offenders after they failed to re-register or verify their current address. The first is Michael S. Kerrick, 35, of Hartly, a Tier III, or high-risk offender. Kerrick is a white man standing 6 feet tall, weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has scars on his left leg and left knee. Kerrick was convicted in January 2009 for unlawful sexual contact where the victim was less than 11 years of age; he last was known to be living in the unit block of Long Bow Lane, Forest Grove Mobile Home Park, Hartly. The second man is William E. Hignutt, 21, of Dover, a Tier II, or medium risk offender. Hignutt is a white man standing 5 feet 7 inches in height, weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a scar on the right side of his face. Hignutt was convicted in September 2009 of unlawful sexual contact where the victim was less than 11 years of age.
