Dover Police have apprehended two men suspected in committing a holdup at a local bus station. The robbery took place at approximately 1:37 p.m. Nov. 22, at the DART station at West Water and South Queen streets, said police spokesman Lt. Marvin Mailey. The victim said two men, later identified as Quinton Henry, 27, of the unit block of North Kirkwood Street and Phillip Washington, 55, of the 200 block of North DuPont Highway, came up and demanded money. The men implied they had a gun, Mailey said. The suspects snatched the victim's wallet from his hands, breaking the chain that held it to his pants, and fled. They were apprehended a short distance away in the rear of the Courtney Square Center. Henry and Washington were found to be in possession of the victim's wallet and money, Mailey said. All of the items were returned to the victim, he added. Both men were charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, then jailed at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, after failing to pay a $20,500 secured bond.
