  • The Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife announced that the 2015 Delaware's Waterfowl Stamp competition will be a special Governor's Edition.
Delaware Governor Jack Markell will sign 250 limited edition prints. The special edition will feature Delaware’s native black duck with ducklings against the backdrop of the coastal wetlands of the Delaware Bayshore.
In addition, the special anniversary edition stamp will be followed by a five-year series incorporating a sporting dog: 2016 – American green-winged teal and yellow lab; 2017 – Canvasback and Chesapeake Bay retriever; 2018 – Northern Pintail and golden retriever; 2019 – Long-tailed duck (oldsquaw) and black lab; 2020 – American Wigeon and chocolate lab.
Delaware’s Waterfowl Stamp Contest has become a hallmark of our state’s great outdoors tradition,” said Governor Markell. “I look forward to seeing next year’s winning artwork and signing the special edition print of it that will be a special part of the 35th anniversary year.”
