Harrington Police have arrested a local man, identified as Brian J. Conley, 24, in connection with a series of recent burglaries.
The case stemmed from a case where a building in the 200 block of Commerce Street was illegally entered nine times over a nine-day period in mid-September, said Deputy Chief of Police Keith Shyers. Several items, including the victim’s car were taken, Shyers said.
Conley, of the first block of Ward Street, Harrington, also was wanted out of several different courts on numerous charges, including four charges of probation violation and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
He was charged with nine counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and theft of items valued at $1,500 or greater.
He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, in default of a total $26,438 secured bond.
