A 24-year-old Harrington man, identified as Brian J. Conley, was arrested by the Harrington Police Department on Nov. 1 for his alleged involvement in nine area burglaries.
A 24-year-old Harrington man was arrested by the Harrington Police Department on Nov. 1 for his alleged involvement in nine area burglaries.
Harrington Police discovered that Brian J. Conley had entered a victim’s residence in the 200 block of Commerce Street in Harrington on nine occasions during mid-September, allegedly stealing several items as well as the victim’s car, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Deputy Chief Keith Shyers.
Conley was also wanted out of several different courts along with four violations of probation warrants. He was also wanted out of the Delaware State Police Troop 9 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Conley was located at Royal Farms on Nov. 1 and transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing and arraignment.
Conley was charged with nine counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and theft $1,500 or greater. He was arraigned via videophone through Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to the Sussex Correction Institution in default of $26,438 total bond.
