A federal judge ruled this afternoon that key parts of a new Texas abortion law are unconstitutional. A lawsuit against the law, which was to take effect tomorrow, was filed by Planned Parenthood and women’s health care providers. It was ruled that the law unconstitutionally restricted access to abortion providers and on doctors’ rights to act in patients’ best interests.
