  • Delaware State University's Early College High School (ECHS) will hold several student and parent information night events over the next two months.
    The information nights will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at the DSU Living and Learning Commons, 1570 N. DuPont Highway, Dover, on the following dates:
    Nov. 5, 18; Dec. 3, 17.
    Dr. Judi Coffield, director of the ECHS, and members of its board of directors will be in attendance to share information about the charter high school. The mission of the ECHS is to provide motivated students with a curriculum concentrating on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) that is integrated with the relevant curriculum at Delaware State University.
    The school is scheduled to open in the fall 2014.
