    Caesar Rodney 42, Sussex Tech 8
    The Caesar Rodney Riders defeated Sussex Tech 42-8 on Friday, October 18. The Riders look to improve upon their 5-2 record this Friday night when they host the St. Mark’s Spartans.
    Dover 42, Sussex Central 7
    The Dover Senators’ football team defeated Sussex Central 42-7 on Friday, October 18. The Senators look to improve upon their 6-1 record when they host Smyrna on Friday night for the school’s homecoming game.
    Polytech 9, Cape Henlopen 33
    The Polytech Panthers’ football squad fell to Cape Henlopen 33-9 on Friday, October 18. The Panthers hope to improve upon their 5-2 record when they travel to Sussex Central to take on the Golden Knights on Friday.
    Lake Forest 14, Laurel 0
    The Lake Forest Spartans’ football team defeated Laurel 14-0 on Friday, October 18. The Spartans hope to build upon their 4-3 record this Saturday when they travel north to take on Archmere Academy. 
     
    Boys Cross Country
    Caesar Rodney 15, Seaford 50
    The Caesar Rodney boys cross country squad defeated Seaford 15-50 on Wednesday, October 16. The boys are back in action on Wednesday when they take on Dover and Lake Forest in a tri-meet at 4:00 p.m.
    Dover 40, Cape Henlopen 17
    Dover 34, Smyrna 21
    The Dover Senators’ boys cross country squad fell to Cape Henlopen and Smyrna in tri-meet action on Wednesday, October 16. Sean Saxton paced the Senators finishing seventh with a time of 18:23. The Senators are back in action on Wednesday when they take on Caesar Rodney and Lake Forest in a tri-meet.

    Polytech 49, Sussex Tech 15
    Lake Forest 50, Sussex Tech 15
    Polytech’s boys cross country squad split a tri-meet with Lake Forest and Sussex Tech on Wednesday, October 16, while the Spartans fell to both the Panthers and Ravens on Wednesday. Bryan Perry led the way for the Panthers finishing seventh with a time of 17:57. The Panthers are back in action on Wednesday when they host Sussex Central. The Spartans return to the track next week for the Kent County Championships held at Brecknock Park.
     
    Girls Cross Country
    Caesar Rodney 15, Seaford 50
    The Caesar Rodney girls cross country team defeated Seaford 15-50 on Wednesday, October 16. The girls hit the track once again on Wednesday when they take on Dover and Lake Forest in a tri-meet.
    Dover 38, Cape Henlopen 22
    Dover 43, Smyrna 18
    The Dover Senators’ girls cross country team fell to Cape Henlopen and Smyrna in a tri-meet on Wednesday, October 16. Alice Miller led the way for the Senators finishing fifth with a time of 22:16. The Senators are back on the track Wednesday when they take on Lake Forest and Caesar Rodney in a tri-meet.

    Lake Forest 41, Sussex Tech 20
    The Lake Forest girls cross country squad split a tri-meet with Polytech and Sussex Tech on Wednesday, October 16, while the Polytech girls team fell to both the Spartans and Ravens on Wednesday. Polytech’s Macey Simpson led the way for the Panthers finishing third with a time of 22:35, Lake Forest’s Taylor Rosser finished sixth with a time of 23:20. Both the Spartans and Panthers are back in action next week for the Kent County Championships.
     
    Field Hockey
    Caesar Rodney 6, Seaford 1
    The Caesar Rodney field hockey squad defeated Seaford 6-1 on Tuesday, October 15. Kourtney Olsen scored three times for the Riders in the victory.
    Caesar Rodney 1, Cape Henlopen 3
    The Riders’ field hockey team fell to Cape Henlopen 3-1 on Thursday, October 17. Tara Daddio scored the loan CR goal in the loss. The Riders will finish out their regular season schedule Thursday when they host Sussex Tech.
    St. Thomas More 10, Delmarva Christian 0
    The St. Thomas More field hockey squad defeated Delmarva Christian 10-0 for a victory in their homecoming game on Saturday, October 19. Alex McMahon led the way for the Ravens tallying two goals in the victory. The Ravens are back in action on Wednesday when they host Appoquinimink.
     
    Soccer
    Lake Forest 0, Indian River 7
    The Lake Forest soccer squad fell to Indian River 7-0 on Thursday, October 17. The Spartans wrap up their season on Thursday when they host Seaford.
     
    Volleyball
    Caesar Rodney 0, Polytech 3
    The Polytech volleyball squad defeated Caesar Rodney 3-0 on Thursday, October 17. Wissler led the way for the Panthers tallying one block, seven aces, 11 kills and 16 digs in the victory. The Riders return to the court on Thursday when they take on the Dover Senators, while Polytech hits the court again on Thursday hosting Sussex Tech.
    St. Thomas More 3, Delmarva Christian 0
    The St. Thomas More volleyball squad defeated Delmarva Christian 3-0 for a homecoming victory on Saturday, October 19. Meghan Murphy led the way for the Ravens tallying six aces and 12 digs in the win. The Ravens return to the court on Thursday when they host Cape Henlopen.
