The Delaware State Police have arrested a Leipsic man who was allegedly involved in a burglary and theft of firearms.

The incident took place between Oct. 4 and Oct. 8 in the unit block of Hutcha Alley in Leipsic. Police said Jeremy Delinois, 19, is alleged to have broken into a shed and removed three long guns. Delinois then allegedly made arrangements to sell the three guns in exchange for cash. Two of the guns have been recoverd although a 12-gauge shotgun has not.

Delinois turned himself in to detectives at Troop 3 Sunday afternoon and was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 on the charges of third-degree burglary, three counts of theft of a firearm, theft under $1,500, selling stolen property under $1,500, and criminal mischief.

He was released after posting $2,250 secured bond.
