A 19-year-old Milford man, identified as Shane M. Crawford, was arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop conducted by the Harrington Police Department on Oct. 22.

While on patrol on U.S. Route 113 in the area of Corn Crib Road, officers stopped a vehicle operated by Shane M. Crawford around 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 for a traffic violation, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
A computer check revealed that Crawford was wanted on an active warrant issued by Justice of the Peace Court 6. He was then taken into custody without incident, Brode said.
While searching the vehicle, officers located approximately 0.7 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Brode said.
Crawford was processed at the Harrington Police Department and charged with possession of marijuana with an aggravating factor, possession of drug paraphernalia and spinning tires.
Crawford was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and release on $1,050 unsecured bond.
