Delaware State Police troopers are looking for two armed men in a shooting incident that left a 21-year-old victim seriously injured.

Delaware State Police are investigating an early morning robbery and shooting near Magnolia.

The incident took place at 12:20 a.m. Oct. 20, in the area of Berg Alley and Lambert Drive, Woodside East, said police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack.

The three victims were traveling in a vehicle when they were approached by two men who displayed handguns and demanded property and money, Shavack said. One of the men fired several shots at the vehicle, striking a 21-year-old man in the upper body.

The victims fled in their vehicle, taking the shooting victim to a local hospital for treatment. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, Shavack said.

The shooting victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and admitted in serious condition.

The suspects only were described as two black men, dressed in dark clothing, both armed with unknown type handguns.

The incident remains under investigation, Shavack said.
