Dover Police are investigating a burglary at the Residence Inn that took place Oct. 11.

The Dover Police Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating a burglary at the Residence Inn at 600 Jefferic Blvd. The burglary occurred between 8 p.m. and midnight, Oct. 11, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown, when someone entered the first-floor room by breaking a window. The occupants were out for the evening, McKeown said. The burglars stole electronic equipment, jewelry, clothing and an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled without being spotted.
