The Eagles were led by senior Adolphus Crawford who found the back of the net three times for the hat trick.
Lake Forest found the back of the net first off a Holden Hampton free-kick at the fifteenth minute of the first half to give the Spartans a 1-0 lead.
Just under ten minutes later, Crawford would strike for the first of his three goals on an assist from Dylan Keller at the 24th minute. Four minutes later, Crawford would net his second of the game set up by Seth Bungo, and the Eagles took a 2-1 lead into the break.

Crawford completed the hat-trick in the 57th minute, assisted by Chancellor Hemphil to give the Eagles a commanding 4-1 lead after giving up the lead early.
Hampton would connect again late for Lake Forest, but they couldn’t find their way back in the game.
