  • Taylor Michelle Owens of Liepsic/Dover passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was 19. Taylor was born August 19, 1994 in Seaford Delaware to Richard M. Owens and Mary Elizabeth Walker Owens. She had graduated from Dover High School and attended Goldie Beacom College in Wilmington. She was attending Harris School of Business. Taylor was also working at The Institute of Pain Management office in Camden. She was a member of the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge. Taylor enjoyed spending time with her nephews, family and friends. She also enjoyed talking on the phone, spending time outdoors especially on the water and riding the back roads blaring her country music. She is survived by her father Richard M. Owens and his girlfriend Roberta Betts of Milford; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Walker Parker and her husband Walter of Dover; sisters, Amber Kidwell and her husband Cody of Dover, Hailey Owens of Milford and Heidi Hurd of Harrington, grandparents, Belva Walker of Georgetown and Larry Clark and his wife Geri of Dover; aunts, Debra Walker of Blades, Ina Seaton of Salisbury, Joyce Walton and her husband Wayne of Ellendale; uncles, John V. Walker of Dover, and Louis Owens of Dover; niece, Peyton Outten of Harrington; nephews, Tyler and Ryan Kidwell of Dover; cousins, Joey, Ashley and Katlyn Williams of Ellendale, Kristyn Walker of Dover, Stacey Seaton of Salisbury, Cynthia and Harley Walker of Harrington and William Walker of Blades plus much extended family. Funeral services will be held 10AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call on hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Peoples Place, The Safe Program, 1129 Airport Road, Milford, DE 19963.
