  • The 22nd annual Celebration of Tourism in Kent County will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Duncan Center, 500 W. Loockerman St., Dover.
    The event will include a luncheon featuring oven poached salmon, chicken picante and more. Silent auctions featuring overnight stays, accessories, restaurant gift certificates and more will be available. Several awards will be presented, including Tourism Person of the Year, which is not revealed until the event. In addition, Red Frog Events' Firefly Music Festival will be recognized as the Attraction of the Year.
    Tickets are $35 per person or $250 per table.
