The second Artists in the Plus Online Music Festival is coming to a computer screen near your on Friday, and Saturday.
With live performances kicking off Friday through Sunday, musicians from around the globe will be gigging in a unique way.
One hundred independent musicians and bands from all over the globe have been accepted to perform at this year's big event, which was founded by John Voshell, of Wyoming. Artists will be gathered in Los Angeles, Calif., North Carolina and Bergen Norway to showcase their heart and soul to the world via Google's Hangouts On Air. Hangouts is a popular live streaming platform with videos that are automatically uploaded to YouTube.
This year's fest will be sponsored by the esteemed Village Studios in Los Angeles, Calif., (the temporary home for everyone from Fleetwood Mac to The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and John Mayer). Some of the artists performing in the Village Studios will include locals such as rapper Rob "C-Rock" Cintron, rapper Darnell "Primo Nellz" Cephas and the R&B duo JQ, comprised of Jovon Newman and Quintin Richardson.
Performances for the AITP Festival will run 12 hours each day, and artists will be able to video chat with fans.
