Dover Police are reporting an arrest in a Sept. 13 home invasion case.
Detectives with the department's Crime Scene Investigation unit were able to lift fingerprints from the scene and then identify them as belonging to Kevona Johnson, 28, of the 200 block of Mt. Vernon Drive, Chestertown, Md., said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump.
Johnson was charged with first-degree robbery, home invasion and possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited.
She was arrested Sept. 20 while at the Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution, New Castle, where she already had been jailed on unrelated charges.
Bail was set at $150,000 secured bond.
On Sept. 13, Johnson allegedly forced a 91-year-old woman into her apartment at the Dover Country Club apartment complex, then armed herself with a kitchen knife and demanded money.
Police have been conducting their investigation since then.
