Dover Police have arrested a local man, identified as Antonio Barlow, 30, after chasing him down on foot.
The incident began Sept. 11 when police responded to a call about a man with a handgun in the area of South Queen and Reed streets, said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump. Barlow fled on foot after police arrived, and was caught after one of the officers deployed his Taser device.
Barlow was found in possession of 0.2 grams of crack cocaine, Stump said.
Police determined Barlow was not the subject of the original complaint; that individual was apprehended later, said police Chief James Hosfelt.
Barlow was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and loitering.
He was released from custody after posting a $4,550 secured bond.
