A Dover Police spokesman said a local woman, identified as Kim Beulah, 42, was arrested Sept. 1 after she allegedly punched another woman in the face.
Dover Police have arrested a local woman, identified as Kim Beulah, 42, after an altercation at a local strip mall.
The incident took place Sept. 1 in the parking lot of the Courtney Square Shopping Center on South New Street, said police spokesman Lt. Marvin Mailey.
The victim said she was seated in her car when a woman demanded she turn over her soda. The woman said she refused and was punched in the face.
Beulah was arrested a short distance away following a brief struggle with officers, Mailey said. She then was taken to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital for evaluation.
Beulah, whose address was given as the 100 block of South Queen Street, has been charged with first-degree attempted robbery, third-degree assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
Bond information was not provided.
