Officers with the Delaware Child Predator Task Force have arrested a Kenton-area man, identified as Paul V. Nonne, on 12 charges relating to child pornography.
Nonne, 63, was taken into custody Aug. 29, according to the warrant of probable cause released by Justice of the Peace Court 7, Dover.
Special investigators with the task force served a search warrant at Nonne's home in the unit block of White Tail Run, Clayton, which also allowed them to confiscate any electronic or digital records of possible involvement in child pornography.
Although Nonne's home carries a Clayton ZIP code, it is located just south of Kenton.
Detectives seized several laptop computers, iPads, cell phones and an iPod. According to the JP court documentation, the iPod contained at least 12 images of girls between the ages of 12 and 14.
The JP court warrant also said that after being advised of his Miranda rights, Nonne admitted to creating numerous Internet accounts for the purpose of obtaining nude images of underage boys and girls, mostly by posing as an underage person himself. He also admitted to having received hundreds of such images.
Nonne was ordered held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, Smyrna, in default of a $600,000 secured bond.
