Detectives with the Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit are asking the public’s assistance to identify a male subject involved in shoplifting a guitar from a local store.
The incident took place at approximately 5:53 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Earle Teat Music store at 3098 N. DuPont Highway, said police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier.

As the employee ran to the door, he saw the man driving away in a white in color SUV, northbound on U.S. Route 13.
The guitar is valued at approximately $1,500, Fournier said.
The suspect is described as a white man standing 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches in height, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. No other description was provided.
