Kent County Tourism has joined 11 Eastern Shore of Maryland communities in the Eat, Drink, Buy Art marketing initiative.
The initiative is aimed at giving visitors the opportunity to discover the artistic assets of the Eastern Shore and Delaware. Dover and Milford are included in the project, which requires the towns to be recognized as Main Street communities.
“This program brings together towns that are easily accessible,” said Lisa Challenger, director of tourism in Worcester County, Maryland. “But at the same time, seemingly almost an entire world away.” Ms. Challenger extended an invitation for Kent County Tourism to join the program because Milford and Dover are so close to the participating Maryland communities, and are both recognized Main Street destinations.
The website includes a database of resources in all the communities including galleries, restaurants, and shops.
