Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is currently hospitalized and undergoing testing, according to a statement from his office.
Biden reportedly felt weak and disoriented Aug. 14 "following a long drive to Indiana for a family vacation," according to the statement.
Biden was admitted to Northwestern University Hospital.
"The next morning, feeling better, he traveled to Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia to consult with his doctor about his earlier symptoms," the statement reads. "The attorney general was discharged and spent the weekend at home in Wilmington."
Biden is undergoing testing in Houston, TX to investigate the cause of his symptoms and more information will be forthcoming, according to the statement.
Biden suffered what his doctors described as a "minor stroke" on May 11, 2010. Jason Miller, a spokesperson for the AG's office, said there's no indication that Biden's current testing is connected to the stroke.
