  • A 41-year-old Farmington woman, identified as Lisa M. Parsons, turned herself into the Harrington Police Department after a shoplifting incident.
The Harrington Police Department responded to a shoplifting complaint at Hometown Drugs in the 16000 Block of South Dupont Hwy. on Aug. 14, said police spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
After contacting store employees, police determined that Parsons concealed items in an attempt to steal them. When Parsons was confronted by store employees, she returned the items and left the store, Brode said.
Parsons later turned herself into the Harrington Police Department, was issued a criminal summons and released pending a future court appearance.
