Conney Borda of Eggcup Designs, the millinery studio in Dover, was an invited representative of the Milliners Guild at a national stamp dedication in Washington D.C.

The ceremony, held Aug. 8, at the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., celebrates the first-day-of-issue of the 12 new forever postage stamps which depict the work of the industrial age.

The theme of the series is Made In America: Building A Nation. In his remarks, Tom Perez, the newly appointed Secretary of the Department of Labor, likened the stamps to a miniature American portrait gallery, and said "They are an expression of our values and a connection to our past."
