A 23-year-old wanted Easton, Md. man, identified as Tynell D. Phillips, was arrested by Harrington Police following a report of a domestic dispute in progress.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Aug. 14, police responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute in progress in a field off of South West Street in Harrington where officers located Phillips and an unidentified female.
While speaking to officers, Phillips provided a false name and attempted to flee on foot, said police spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Phillips was taken into custody after a brief pursuit on foot, Brode said.
The unidentified female was questioned and released with no charges.
During processing at the Harrington Police Department, officers confirmed Phillips was wanted out of Talbot County, Md. for violating probation.
Phillips was issues a criminal summons for resisting arrest and criminal impersonation and charged as a fugitive from another state.
Phillips was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and is being held without bail at the Sussex Correctional Institution awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
