Three men have been jailed on multiple charges following an early morning shooting in Capitol Green.
The men were identified as Isaac Montague, 25, and Quavaughn Williams, 20, both of East Water Street, Capitol Green, and Nathaniel Jackson, 26, of Laurel Court, Felton, said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump.
The incident took place at 3:40 a.m. on East Water Street when a 22-year-old man was shot in the chest following a large fight.
The injured man was taken to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries; at last report the man was listed in stable condition.
Dover Police chased Montague, Williams and Jackson into a home in the 500 block of River Road, where they were taken into custody. Two .22-caliber revolvers that were hidden in a basement ceiling were recovered.
All three men were charged with first-degree assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and second-degree conspiracy.
All were ordered held in default of a $112,000 cash bond.
