  • Have you invested in ballroom dance lessons but have nowhere to practice what you've learned?
Or perhaps you've always wanted to try ballroom dancing but didn't know where to start?
Whether you're rusty on ballroom dancing or lack experience, USA Dance Dover can help you. In keeping with its mission to provide dance opportunities for ballroom dancers, USA Dance is now offering dance practice sessions on Wednesday nights at the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge in Camden-Wyoming.
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 21 and continuing every Wednesday through Nov. 6, American smooth (waltz, fox trot, tango) dance practice will be available from 7 to 8 p.m. and rhythm (rumba, cha-cha, swing) dance practice will be offered from 8 to 9 p.m. Music will be provided.
Although an instructor won't be present, experienced dancers will be on hand to offer assistance.
Classes cost $3 for one hour or $5 for two hours.
In addition to weekly dance practice, USA Dance also holds a monthly dance on the second Friday of each month from 8 to 11 p.m. The cost for admission to the monthly dance is $10 per person for USA Dance members and $12 per person for non-members (pay at the door).
Ballroom dancing is a great activity for mind, body and soul. If you haven't experienced the wonders of ballroom dancing, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.
USA Dance is located at Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, 760 Moose Lodge Road, Camden-Wyoming.
