Dover Police are continuing their search for a local man, identified as David Clark, 27, following a shooting incident.

Department spokesman Capt. Tim Stump said Aug. 12 that warrants for the arrest of David Clark, 27, have been issued to police searching for him.
Clark is considered armed and dangerous, Stump said.
Anyone with information on Clark's whereabouts is asked to call Dover Police at 736-7111 or 736-7133.

The case began July 30 when police were notified a man was being treated at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital for a gunshot wound, said police spokesman Lt. Joseph Richardson.
Police learned the victim was in an alley near the 300 block of Division Street when he was shot in the leg. No further details on why the shooting occurred were released.
Clark is known to frequent the downtown area, and should be considered armed and dangerous, Richardson said.
He is described as a black man standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds.
