Jeanette Marie McIntosh of Dover passed away Sunday Aug. 4, 2013 at Kent General Hospital. She was 93.
Mrs. McIntosh was born Jan. 1, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Joseph Ladoceur and Mary Berg Ladoceur.
She was a homemaker who in her later years resided in Westminster Village in Dover, Del., where she volunteered both as an aide in the health center and as a marketing ambassador. Mrs. McIntosh enjoyed traveling and socializing with family and friends.
She was an avid boater and liked fishing and crabbing.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. McIntosh, Sr. and her brothers Joseph and Wilfred Ladoceur.
She is survived by her son, William McIntosh, Jr. of Dover, and grandchildren; Dan McIntosh and his wife Shannon of Harrington, and Colleen McIntosh of Dover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, at noon, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901. Family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the mass. Interment will be held immediately following the mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
