Officers with the Harrington Police Department have arrested a Felton man, identified as Tavar T. Wilson, 34, after a traffic stop revealed the presence of marijuana.
Police made the stop at 8:39 p.m. July 29, while on patrol on the Milford-Harrington highway, said police spokesman Lt. Earl K. Brode. Officers searched Wilson's vehicle after detecting the odor of marijuana, Brode said.
A search turned up 42 grams of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia, Brode said.
Wilson was charged with possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on an expired license and failure to have insurance identification.
He was jailed after failing to post a $2,350 secured bond.
