Camden-Wyoming fell to M.O.T. 9-8 in the Major League baseball District I Championships on Tuesday at Milford.

After an early Brandon Buckson homerun gave Camden-Wyoming a first inning lead, M.O.T. fired back with 4 runs of their own in the bottom half to take a 4-1 lead. M.O.T. would tack on 5 more runs over the next 5 innings to take a commanding 9-3 lead heading into the sixth.

Camden-Wyoming would claw their way back into the game in the top-half of the sixth inning. Jackson Rall smacked a two-run homerun, Parker Garrison scored on a wild pitch and Evan Harris and Tommy Pomatto singled home runs to cut the M.O.T. lead to 9-8.

Unfortunately, M.O.T.’s Drew Fry was able to quiet the Camden-Wyoming bats the rest of the way ending any come-back hopes.

M.O.T. now moves onto the State Tournament against District III Champion Millsboro on Thursday at Newark.
