After escaping capture during a July 7 car chase, Ray O. Horsey, 20, of Magnolia was arrested July 16 on suspicion of burglary and other charges.
Officers with the Harrington Police Department have captured Ray O. Horsey, 20, of Magnolia on suspicion of burglary and other charges.
Police spokesman Lt. Earl Brode said that on July 7, Horsey was the driver of a car involved in a traffic violation and subsequent chase. The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot after the car became disabled, but officers were unable to capture Horsey at that time.
Detectives believe Horsey broke into a garage during the chase, Brode said.
Horsey was arrested July 16 by the Delaware State Police and turned over to Harrington authorities.
He was charged with third-degree burglary, disregarding a police officer signal, third-degree conspiracy, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended or revoked license and several other traffic charges.
Horsey was released after posting a $6,808 secured bond.
