Dover Police have arrested a local man, Jamichael Peck, 19, when he was caught after running away from the scene of a burglary.
Dover Police have arrested a local man, Jamichael Peck, 19, after receiving a 911 call concerning a burglary. Officers were alerted at approximately 11:20 p.m. July 16, said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump, when a caller said three men were trying to break into the A&H Uniforms store at 863 S. Governors Ave. Police arriving at the scene spotted three men running, Stump said, and apprehended Peck. Officers determined approximately $500 in damage had been done to the rear door, alarm system and ceiling of the building. Peck was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy and criminal mischief. He was released on a $3,100 secured bond.
