The Delaware Public Archives will hold a workshop on Google Tools for Genealogy on Aug. 3.
The workshop will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Delaware Public Archives, 121 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard North, Dover.
Leah Youse, MLIS, will lead the presentation. This presentation will provide the information a researcher needs to utilize several advanced search techniques that will take one's genealogical research to the next level, as well as serve as an introduction to GoogleTranslate and GoogleBooks.
Youse earned her master's degree in library and information science from the University of Alabama and currently provides reference services to patrons at the Elkton Central Library in Cecil County, Maryland. She has also done archival work with the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the Historical Society of Cecil County.
