  • Detectives with the Dover Police Department are working to identify a woman suspected of stealing a credit card and then using it in local stores.
The theft occurred at the Toys R Us store, said police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump. The suspect apparently took the credit card from the victim's purse, and then used it on June 4 at Dollar Tree, Kmart, Sunoco, Tiger Mart, J.C. Penney and a shoe store in the Dover Mall, Stump said.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call Dover Police at (302) 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips also may be submitted through Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333, or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
