Voshell Green Hutchins, of Dover, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013. He was 69.
Voshell worked as an electrician for many years before retiring from the State of Delaware. After retirement, he started a landscaping business which he still operated.
Voshell enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. His hobbies included Nascar racing, bowling, fishing, cooking on the grill, and riding his Harley. Most of all, he loved the time he spent with family and friends.
Voshell was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover and assisted with lawn mowing and snow removal.
He was born on March 16, 1944, in Dover, Delaware. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Hutchins, his mother, Pauline Hutchins Wojtas, and step-father, Frank Wojtas.
Voshell is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna; his brother, Franklin Hutchins and his wife, Barbara; his sisters Patricia Pittelli and her husband, Joseph; Josephine Moore and her husband, Kenneth; Jeraldine Lane and her husband, Gerald; his sister-in-law, Teresa Gedney and her husband, Steve. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all of them.
Services will be at Trader’s Funeral Home located at 12 Lotus Street in Dover on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed with a service at 1 o’clock. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
