A Magnolia man was arrested by the Harrington Police Department on Wednesday for two thefts that occurred in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue in April.
Police responded to a theft complaint involving two victims at separate residences in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue in Harrington reporting that one victim had an outside air conditioner unit stolen and the other had tools taken. Initially no suspects were identified and the case was turned over to the Harrington Police Department Criminal Investigative Unit.
Detectives identified Travis Crowe, 37, of Magnolia, as the suspect in both thefts and obtained warrants for his arrest.
Crowe turned himself into the Harrington Police Department on July 10 and was charged with one count of theft under $1,500 and one count of theft more than $1,500. Crowe also had an active violation of probation warrant.
Crowe was processed and arraigned via video phone on a $1,000 unsecured bond on the theft charges and a $1,000 cash bond on the violation of probation charge. Crowe posted his bail and was released.
